DIMAPUR — A landslide triggered by continuous rainfall hit Wangshu village under Tobu sub-division in Mon district on September 16, resulting in significant damage to an RCC building belonging to SA Ngamlao Konyak at Phaosa Khell.
According to reports, the landslide severely impacted the RCC building, kitchen, and traditional bamboo hut (‘machang’), resulting in significant loss and considerable hardship for the affected family.

The incident was reportedly brought to the attention of the additional deputy commissioner of Tobu on September 17, seeking relief assistance for the affected family.
