Dimapur, Oct. 29 (EMN): Five houses were completely destroyed and a granary and an Anganwadi centre were damaged due to incessant rains on October 26 at Jakhama village in Kohima district, updates report.
The government publicity agency the department of Information and Public Relations (IPR) gave a report on Tuesday informing about the situation in the village.
There were no casualties, the IPR stated. The district’s administration visited the affected areas to assess the damage, and provided monetary relief to the affected, the IPR reported.
