Our Correspondent Wokha, July 31 (EMN): Incessant rains caused a major landslide damaging NH-61 in Wokha district between New Wokha Village and Koio village. Sources reported that it happened probably in the morning hours of Monday. Restoration works has been carried out with joint effort from district administration Wokha headed by EAC Chukitong along with National Highway officials and Koio village council. Two excavators were engaged for cutting fresh earth above the road. It was further reported that more rains may lead to another landslide anytime in the days to come.
