KVYO lauds frontline workers

Kohima, May 10 (EMN): Kohima Village Youth Organisation (KVYO) has expressed its gratitude to all the frontline workers in a statement issued on Monday.

It thanked all the frontline workers--police personnel, traffic police, doctors, nurses and medical staff, ambulance and hearse drivers and helpers, district administration, essential commodities transporters and shopkeepers etc. who work overtime and 'risk themselves for all of us'.

“None can replace you in saving humanity. You all have made uncountable sacrifices and risked yourselves for others, for which we salute you,” it read.

KVYO also welcomed the timely decision of high-powered committee in consultation with DTF Kohima and Dimapur by declaring Kohima and Dimapur as containment zones.

“The Kohima village too support and implemented the containment zone in the village and its vicinity”, KVYO stated.

Further, it has appealed all to support and follow the SOPs strictly.
