DIMAPUR — The Kohima Village Youth
Organisation (KVYO) has expressed gratitude to everyone who has contributed for
the success of the recently concluded Hornbill Carnival Parade 2024 held on
December 7.
Stating that the vibrant celebration was a remarkable
showcase of the rich cultural heritage of Nagaland, the organisation has
attributed the success to the support of various stakeholders.
It has thanked the state government and Tourism department
for granting them the opportunity to host the prestigious event. It stated that
the belief in their vision allowed them to create a platform where different
communities living in Kohima could come together to celebrate the shared
identity and diverse traditions.
“The Hornbill Carnival Parade served as a powerful reminder
of the unity and spirit that defines our state,” KVYO said.
It also acknowledged the contributions of the Art and
Culture department stating that their efforts in arranging the cultural troupes
from Kisama added depth and vibrancy to the parade, enriching the experience
for all participants and spectators. It stated that the performances showcased
the artistic talents and cultural richness of the people, leaving a lasting
impression on everyone present.
KVYO has also expressed gratitude to its partners namely
KCCI, Morung Express, VUTO Hyundai, Headlights, Vibesounds and Cinematixx for their
unwavering support.
It mentioned that the enthusiasm and participation from the
local community and visitors alike made the parade a memorable occasion. As it
reflect on the success of the Hornbill Carnival Parade 2024, the organisation
looked forward to building on the momentum for future events.
