D. Khel annexed three Gold Medal in games events at the ongoing 62nd KVSA meet, 2016 on the day four on Friday at local ground, Kohima.
D. Khel strike Gold in both men’s and women’s events in Basketball. In the final for men’s D. Khel beat L. Khel by 46-42 in an keenlwy contested match, while D.Khel women’s scrapped passed T.Khel by 26-17 to win Gold.
D.Khel also won Gold in women’s volleyball beating P.Khel in three straight sets by 25-23,25-23 and 25-22. T.Khel men’s clinched Gold in volleyball beating D.Khel by 25-12,23-25,25-22 and 25-8.
In the Athletics High Jump event for both men’s and women’s played on penultimate day, P. Khel jumper Vizetuolie Rame and Dziesengunuo Solo of T. Khel won the Gold respectively in men and women event.
Results of the events on at Indoor stadium such as Chess, badminton and Table tennis area awaited as the match continue till late evening on Friday.Meanwhile the five-day meet of KVSA will conclude on Saturday with traditional Naga Style wrestling for Men’s and Cross Country Race. The wrestling competition on Saturday will start at 9.00am and the Cross Country race at 12.noon. The closing ceremony will take place at 3.30 pm with P.Atuo Mezhur, President Nagaland Football Association as the Guest of Honour. The highlights of the closing ceremony special song by Miss.
