KVK Phek holds SAC meeting

Dimapur, Dec. 17 (EMN): The XVI scientific advisory committee (SAC) meeting was conducted virtually at KVK conference hall, Porba, on December 17 chaired by Dr. Nazrul Haque, director in-charge of ICAR-NRC on Mithun, Medziphema.

An update from KVK Phek stated that the meeting was attended by the district officials, progressive farmers, and representative from NGOs, Nagaland State Cooperative Bank.

Dr. T Esther Longkumer, senior scientist and head in-charge of KVK, Phek, welcomed the members and briefed about the KVK mandates and activities. She also presented the progress report of 2020.

It added that the annual action plan of KVK Phek for the year 2021 was presented by Dr. Rinku Bharali. Altogether, 22 participants attended the meeting and the meeting concluded with words of appreciation delivered by Dr. Debojyoti Borkotoky, ACTO (Animal Science).
