Dimapur, July 18 (EMN): The Kohima Village Council (KVC) has strongly condemned the act of arson committed by some politically motivated persons on the night of July 16, near Hotel Vivor, Kohima. The council appealed public not to resort to such acts of vandalism and cheap political propaganda in the guise of Kohima village, thereby tarnishing its good image. In a press condemnation note, KVC chairman, Dr. Neiphi Kire and general secretary, Zeneizo Rutsa, stated that this particular incident has caused great anguish and grave danger to innocent lives and properties.
Further, KVC urged the authority to immediately investigate and bring the culprits to book according to the law of the land.
