Dimapur, Sep 7 (EMN): The DAN Chairman and leader NPF legislator party, Kuzholuzo Nienu has strongly condemned the barbaric act of Toishe, Daniel Yimchunger and Avituo, murdering an innocent and honest man Swuduve Nakro on September 2, stating that such act was beyond one’s imagination.
Nienu in condemnation note stated that such murderers do not have a place to stay in Naga society and appealed the competent authority should award befitting punishment to the accused.
He also stated that the State capital almost witnessed like March 4, 2015 incident on September 6, where the angered taxi drivers converged at South Police Station demanding to hand over the accused to the public.
Nienu appealed the State government to take necessary steps to bring back normal situation in the state and also urged to grant ex-gratia to the victim family since Nakro was the only bread earner in the family.
VCP: The Village Council of Pholami (VCP) is utterly shocked at the inhumane brutality and gruesome murdered of Swuduve Nakro on the fateful night of September 2 at Zhievu-Zie, Chiechema.
The village council urged the law enforcing authority, judiciary, and prosecutor not to grant bail and award capital punishment to the murderers. Failing to fulfill their demand, the VCP stated that the arrested culprits must be handover to them at any cost.
The council also cautioned that any family members, individuals, or organisations try to bail out the culprits, will be doing at their own risk and the village will not be held responsible for any outcomes and consequences, for which the village council added that it will take its own course of action as per law of land.
VCP appealed to the State government to provide suitable and sustainable job to the family of Nakro.
Meanwhile, VCP extended its sincere appreciation to the District Administration and Police of Kohima and Zunheboto for their prompt action leading to arrest of the culprits within 48 hours. The council also expressed gartitute to the people of Cheichama village, various organisations of Cheichama village for being with them in their most anguish moment and arranged an honourable journey for Nakro on his last journey to Pholami village. VCP thanked various social media groups and individuals for their noble gestures shown from the time when he went missing and prayer support extended after the tragedy and ANTA for their support.
Kami village: The Village Council Kami and Youth Society have vehemently condemned the brutal killing of Swuduve Nakro of Pholami village, the innocent taxi owner and driver of the family bread earner.
In a joint condemnation note, the village council and youth body appealed the authority to award befitting punishment to the culprits as per the law of the land and not to bail out the convicts for committing such barbaric and heinous crime. Further, the village conveyed deepest condolences to the bereaved family members and pray for the departed soul to rest in peace.
The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), Wokha District has condemned the cold-blooded murder of Swuduve Nakro of Phomlami village, driver of local taxi on September 2.
The BJYM while appreciating the swift action of the law enforcing agency appealed to the concerned authority to reward befitting punishment as per law. It also conveyed condolences and pray for solace of the bereaved family members.
Further, the BJYM also expressed regret that the vehicle was reportedly hired towards Wokha which could have led to misunderstanding along tribal lines but wished that good sense prevailed.
Poumai Naga Union Kohima (PNUK) has vehemently condemned the murder of Swüdüve Nakro whose dead body was found on September 3 between Chiechama village and Nachama village.
The union while lauding the state police for its swift action in arresting the culprits also urged the concerned authority to award befitting and exemplary punishment.
The union president Sülunii Rapaobamai on behalf of the all Poumais living in Kohima town conveyed condolence to the bereaved family members and pray for the departed soul to rest in rest.
The BJP Phek district has express strong resentment against the barbaric and heinous crime committed on its party member and unit president of Pholami village, Swuduve Nakro, who was murder on the fateful night of September 2 and recovered on September 3 near Dzuvuzie between Chiechama and Nachama village junction on the pretext of going to Wokha.
In a condemnation note, President Nuchutso Ruho while condemning the act in a highest term also appreciated the police for quick and prompt action in arresting the culprits involved in the gruesome act. The BJP Phek appealed the law enforcing agencies to carry out an impartial investigation and called upon every right thinking citizen not to bail them out but award befitting punishment to the murderers as per the law so that it would serve as an example in future. The BJP Phek appealed the State government to provide ex-gratia to the bereaved family. It also conveyed condolences to the bereaved family and pray for the departed soul to rest in peace.
The Khomi Union, Kohima (KUK) has condemned the murder of one of its members Swüdüve Nakro of Pholami village by the Toishe Aye, Daniel Yimchunger, and Avito Zhotso on September 2 at Zhievuzie between Chiechama and Nachama.
The KUK urged upon the authorities to award befitting penalty with the degree of the crime committed by the three habitual offenders without delay in order to deliver justice and also to deter recurrence of such crime on the life of innocent citizens in future.
The union conveyed condolences to the bereaved family and pray for the departed soul to rest in eternal peace.
The Yimchungru Union Kohima (YUK) has vehemently condemned the inhuman and merciless act of those insane killers of Sweduve Nakro, an innocent local taxi driver.
While appreciating the police personnel for prompt arrest of the three accused, the union also urged the law enforcing agency not to grant bail to criminals at any cost but to award the befitting an exemplary punishment as the degree of offence committed by them is intolerable and condemnable by every right thinking citizen.
The union also extended its unflinching support to All Nagaland Taxi Association (ANTA) in their demand against inhuman act meted out to one of its members. The union urged the authority concerned for speedy delivery of justice to the victim. Further, the union conveyed condolences and pray for comforts ans strenght to the bereaved family.
