Kuki mothers condemn murder

Dimapur, July 9 (EMN): Kuki Nute Kiloikhom (KNK), a mothers’ organisation in Phaipijang, has strongly condemned the brutal murder of Ms Kimneilhing Hangsing on July 1 evening in Phaipijang village, Dimapur. The organisation chairperson, Mawite Haolai, and the secretary, Chongneineng Hangsing, have expressed sadness, anger and shock at the merciless killing of the girl and added that the incident had left the whole neighbourhood under fear psychosis. It has fervently appealed to the police to leave no stone unturned in the enquiry process and to apprehend the culprit(s) at the earliest and give befitting punishment as per the law of the land. Further, the mothers’ organisation has conveyed condolence to the bereaved family members and prayed that the Almighty God would comfort them and grant the strength to bear with the loss. It has also prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
