Dimapur, Dec. 28 (EMN): The Kuhuboto Town Students’ Union (KTSU) celebrated its 25 years of existence under the theme “Quest for Excellence” at Kuhuboto Town Baptist Church on Friday, Dec. 28.
Special quest of the event Jacob Zhimomi, Minister PHED, government of Nagaland, told the gathering that the ‘educated youths today are the decision makers for the future, be it in spiritual or social life.’
“The youth must be ready to work and most importantly remain humble,” he said.
He cautioned that most of today’s students resort to “overnight preparation” which ultimately doesn’t help in the long run. He lamented that in spite of making progress in academics, lack of opportunities is a stumbling block for the educated Naga youths.
The minister also said that ‘achieving any goal is a joint venture of parents, teachers and the students which unifies them.’
Earlier, Zhimomi inaugurated the jubilee building.
