Dimapur, Sep. 30 (EMN): The Kuhuboto Town Students’ Union (KTSU) silver jubilee memorial building foundation stone was laid by President Dimapur District GBs’ Federation Tokuho Suhoi Neho on Sep. 30 at Kuhuboto town.
Speaking on the occasion as a chief guest, Neho said students play a greater role in transforming the society and therefore students should equip themselves with knowledge that would help them to mould the world. He was of the view that a student must have the qualities of willingness to learn, hardworking and sincerity, and self discipline in order to be successful in life.
He also urged the student leaders to be more focused towards the welfare of the students. He wished the union a grand and successful celebration of its silver jubilee.
The function was chaired by member of Jubilee Committee, Tokhuli A Aye; pastor KTBC Shikiho Yeptho said the invocation prayer; convenor Jubilee Planning Committee, Zhutovi Chophy delivered welcome address; while convenor Jubilee Editorial Board, P Kiyekhu Yeputhomi proposed vote of thanks; and women pastor NCRC Kuhuboto Vilika D Jakha pronounced benediction.
