Dimapur, Dec. 15: The second day of Dimapur Night Carnival (DNC) 2016 was a treat for people thronging Naga Shopping Arcade Supermarket Dimapur on Thursday night as the KTM bikers demonstrated the first ever night bike stunt at the Carnival venue.
The KTM bike stunt was flagged off by the special guest, Tovihoto Ayemi, MLA and Chairman of NIDC.
Gracing the second day of DNC 2016 as special guest, Ayemi conveyed his appreciation to the organisers for making efforts to make the event possible and continuing with the biggest event of Dimapur since its inception in 2013.
Ayemi expressed optimism that the carnival will continue in years to come which have also provided platform to local artists, young talents and entrepreneurs with active participation from people in good spirit.
Dimapur Night Carnival 2016 has over 300 stalls jointly being organised by the district administration, Dimapur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI), Business Association of Nagas (BAN) and East Dimapur Business Association (EDBA).
It may be noted that on the inauguration of the DNC 2016, a raffle draw was held that was picked by the chief guest C Apok Jamir with the winning number 1838. Thursday raffle draw was picked by the special guest Tovihoto Ayemi with no. 1665 as the winning number. All winners of the raffle draw are asked to claim the prize at the venue of night carnival.
The third day of the DNC 2016 will be graced by Jacob Zhimomi, Parliamentary Secretary of Irrigation and Flood Control, as the special guest.
