[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he Dimasa Women Welfare Society of Nagaland has expressed grief at the demise of Late Minist Jidung, President, Kachari Tribal Council, Nagaland (KTCN) who passed away on December 17 at his residence in Amaluma village under Dhansiripar Sub-Division.
KTCN President Moromi Hojai in a condolence message described Late Minist Jidung as a sincere and dedicated leader who had served in various NGOs. “He was an active social worker throughout his life. His death caused Dimasa Kachari community a great loss of such an energetic leader.”
The Dimasa Women Welfare Society prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace and also conveyed condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed Almighty God to comfort them in time of grief and sorrow.DSUN: The Dimasa Students’ Union Nagaland (DSUN) has expressed deep pain over the untimely demise of late Minist Jidung. The union in a message described him as a good social leader and cultural activist who had done much for the society.
“His contributions to our society will be remembered in the days to come. In the death we lost a good leader,” the union said and prayed that the Almighty will grant peace to the departed soul. It also it extended its deepest sympathy to the bereaved family members in this ‘very dark moment’.
