Diphu, Oct. 10: The KSA has organised the central extended meeting in order to revive the organisation activities and to start its agitation programmes. The meeting also discussed to expose the massive corruption of present BJP led KAAC and also to strengthen the Autonomous State movement by KSA taking lead role.
Padmashree Rongbong Terang is against Autonomous State as he doesn’t support to it, said Amlong Engti, former general secretary, Karbi Students Association (KSA) of Simeon Rongphar faction, in his speech during the KSA Central Extended meeting held at KSA Central committee office, here.
Amlong Engti in his speech said the KSA led by president. Rongphar and general secretary Thomson Rongpi spoke against corruption and they have the courage and ability to criticize someone who is doing wrong. It is this KSA that which is still surviving to carry out mass movement for Autonomous State and stands for the oppressed. The KSA is following the philosophy of Marxist with communist ideologist as any movement cannot survive without following communist ideology, he said.
He also said the movement carried out by Communist is a true movement and if Autonomous State movement has to carry forward the ideologies of Communist cannot be surrendered, Engti said. Taking the name of Terang, Engti said: “Terang may be a literary person but not a Karbi litterateur as don’t write in Karbi. He was about to be remove from Diphu Govt. College as a faculty as he does not have the requisite UGC norms, but it was Dr. Jayanta Rongpi, who help him to be in Diphu Govt. College. But if speak about Autonomous State movement he does not support.”
KSA president, Rongphar said the KSA will carry out a torch light procession to exposed the corruption of BJP led KAAC on Oct. 17 in Nilip and on October 24 road blockade at Manja tiniali against the deplorable condition of road of NH-36 and NH-39 and non completion of road construction of Manja-Diphu-Lumding road by Simplex Company.
