Research Committee of KROS College, Lerie, Kohima, organized a workshop on “Research Methodology” on April 30 with Prof. Lungsang Zeliang, HOD, Department of Education, Nagaland University, as resource person.
The workshop was organized with an aim to encourage teaching faculty on broadening their knowledge by taking up Research Papers which is an important pre-requisite of a responsible mentor.
Prof. Lungsang, in her talk on “Overview of research process,” said “Knowledge is ever expanding because of research.” She also stressed on the importance of research for every educator. Dr. Limala, in her talk, stressed on ethics of teacher which was primarily aimed at challenging oneself and strife for expanding knowledge through research.
The program was chaired by Miss Emilo Ovung, Assistant Prof. Department of Political Science, KROS College. The Principal, Chairman and teaching faculty were all present in the workshop. The programme ended with Dr. Kinitoli H Yeptho, Assistant Prof. Department of History, delivered the vote of thanks. The programme was in all an eye-opener for all concerned.
