Dimapur, June 20 (EMN): KROS College Alumni Association (KCAA) has organised its first ‘Meritorious Programme’ on June 20 in the college campus. The objective of the programme was to celebrate the achievements of the newly graduating students, acknowledged their hard work and at the same time to serve as encouragement to the students undergoing bachelor degree in the college.
Khongalou Rosü and Chenithung Kikon were honoured as the best graduating student in honours and general respectively. The college principal Ms Imsuinla Imti exhorted the students to work harder and be a source of motivation and inspiration. She said, “Money may be stolen and strength may fail but education can never be stolen.”
Kelühol Tase, associate professor department of commerce, also stressed on the importance of making the Krosian family stronger by contributing towards the college.
The Programme was chaired by Kemesano Rhetso, batch of 2014, while the invocation was said by Mimi, and the welcome speech was delivered by Soniya Chung, association president. Special songs were presented by music students of KROS College and Yanpothung & co. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered Agwalo Tep, alumni batch of 2001.
