Dimapur, August 29 (EMN): The Kohima Press Club (KPC) has expressed sadness in learning of the demise of P Ganguly, father of KPC's former vice president, Vibou, on August 29.
The KPC recalled Ganguly as a knowledgeable senior citizen who had great concern for the welfare of the society. It stated that Ganguly had served the central and state police departments in different capacities, and after retirement from government service, he had been a regular contributor to the newspapers in Nagaland with enriching articles.
While mourning the demise, KPC also extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members and pray to the Almighty to grant them solace at this time of grief.
Meanwhile, Dimapur Press Club (DPC) has expressed grief on learning the demise of columnist P Ganguly, father of Kohima Press Club (KPC) former vice president, Vibou, on August 29.
Ganguly was a columnist who had been a regular contributor to local newspapers in Nagaland, stated DPC.
The DPC conveyed it heartfelt condolences to the members of the bereaved family and also pray to Almighty God to grant eternal peace to the departed soul.
