
DIMAPUR – The Kohima Press Club (KPC) has activated its various committees, including the KPC building committee under Kopelo Krome, the KPC-NBOCWWB media fellowship for writing and photography committee under Vishu Rita Krocha, and the media fellowship for video journalism committee under Vincent Belho.
In its general body meeting held on Thursday at the APO Building in Kohima, the conveners of those committees were requested to carry out their assigned responsibilities with immediate effect.
[bsa_pro_ad_space id=1]The Press Club also set up its election commission for the by-election, with Narain B Sagar as election commissioner, and KC Momin and Nchumthung Odyuo as members.
The three-member audit committee, with Nzanbemo Khuvung serving as the convener, presented its audit report for 2022–2023 during the meeting.
KPC president Alice Yhoshü, who presided over the meeting, informed that the KPC recorded the highest number of members in 2023 with a total of 66.
The house also discussed several other matters pertaining to the welfare of KPC and its members. Around 40 club members were present at the meeting.
