Dimapur, June 20 (EMN): Old Ministers’ Hill Youth Organization (OMHYO) has adopted series of resolutions for the welfare and peace of the colony. The resolutions were adopted during its meeting on June 17 at the colony panchayat hall.
The youth have resolved that all shops within its jurisdiction should be close by 8 p.m., while it also directed all the shops, schools and hotels to put up proper sign boards with their names and correct addresses.
It resolved that every household or inhabitant including shops, hotels and schools within its jurisdiction should not throw wastes and rubbishes improperly. It said sanitation measures should be taken around its area.
It said any student found under the influence of alcoholic or in possession of intoxicants will be strictly dealt according to the constitution.
It also resolved that double parking around the colony will not be allowed from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for the smooth flow of vehicle passage. Besides, it resolved that any organisation, group or party organising any event or programme within its jurisdiction should give prior information to the colony youth president or the chairman of the colony for the smooth conduct and the welfare of the people.

Meanwhile, the youth have decided to organise a mass social work on June 24 from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. It has requested one member from each household for the proposed mass social work.
The organisation further requested the public and its residents to co-operate for peace and welfare of the colony.
