Dimapur, Jan. 2 (EMN): To welcome a New Year, New Market Youth Organisation (NMYO) has organised “Live musical jam” on December 31 in which various artistes from in and around Kohima performed at New Market Colony in Kohima.
The “Live musical jam” featured renowned singers including Table 3, Technicolors- finalist of 2014 edition of the Hornbill International Rock contest and other individual artistes. Female bigboxer Zhovinuo Kire, Faction Girls, Dancing Angels and Winter Carol also enthralled a packed crowd.

The mini-concert was an annually event organised on New Year’s eve as part of NMYO’s yearly activities.
“The main motive and objective behind organising such an event was to give a platform in order to uplift the budding talents of the colony and encourage them,” said Neitho Solo, NMYO vice-president.
The event was anchored by Vikholie Yiese, NMYO president, while chairman of New Market and former NMYO president Neitho Kuotsu, and others gave away certificates of appreciation and cash awards to the participants.
