Dimapur, Aug. 4 (EMN): Kohima Town Hotels’ Union (KTHU) has elected new team of office bearers for a period of three years.
The election of the new office bearers was taken during its general body meeting on Aug. 4 in the conference hall of Hotel Japfü in Kohima.
The new team would be headed by Khrielakuo Sekhose as president, Tsuknungtemsu Jamir as vice president, Atanu Theyo as general secretary, Qhevili Swu as joint secretary, Theyiehu Rutsa as finance secretary, and K Sahu Angami as treasurer.
The outgoing president N Theyo has been requested to be its advisor.
Other members of the executive body are Zasilhoulie, Rüüzolie Khate, John Megh, Akhuzo, Toki, Khriezo Suokhrie, Binod, Angunuo, Yongchem, and Ayong.
Speaking on the occasion, the outgoing president N Theyo, informed the house that he took over charge as president from Setso Usou in the year 2002 and was able to register with the government during his tenure.
He also informed that yearly membership fee of INR100 and registration fee of INR 500 was yet to be cleared by many members.
In his acceptance speech, the new president Khrielakuo Sekhose urged the members to work as a team as he said, “things are achieved with team work.”
He looked forward to a prosperous team work with the new executive members.
