Kohima Red Tigresses win Nagaland Women Futsal League title at IG Stadium, Kohima.

KOHIMA — Kohima Red Tigresses on Wednesday evening lifted the title of the second edition of Nagaland Women Futsal League held at IG Stadium, Kohima.
The league was organised by the department of Youth Resources and Sports in collaboration with the Nagaland Football Association (NFA).

The champions received INR 60,000 as prize money, while runners-up United Girls Kohima won INR 50,000. SC Nagaland secured third position and pocketed INR 40,000, while Football Plus Jalukie finished fourth and received INR 20,000.
Zenloi Konyak of Kohima Red Tigresses was adjudged Player of the Tournament and received INR 5,000, while teammate Keviphrenuo Semou was awarded Best Goalkeeper along with a cash prize of INR 5,000.
Diezechünuo of SC Nagaland emerged as the top scorer and also received INR 5,000, while Rokothono of United Girls Kohima was adjudged Most Valuable Player and awarded INR 5,000.
Brave Cubs Kohima was adjudged the Best Disciplined Team and received INR 10,000.
Meanwhile, Secretary for Youth Resources and Sports (DYRS), Anthony Ngullie attended the closing ceremony as the special guest.
