Kohima Press Club sports day on Oct. 27

Dimapur, Oct. 24 (EMN): The Kohima Press Club (KPC) will hold its annual sports day on Sat. Oct. 27 at the Indoor Badminton Stadium, Officers’ Hill, in Kohima. According to an update received here on Wednesday, the competition will be held for the following disciplines/categories: badminton single and doubles (men/women/mixed doubles); carrom (men/women); chess (men/women); chinese checkers (open); and ludo (open). Registration for participation will be done from 9 am-9.30 am on the same day while drawing of fixtures will be done at 9.30 am and the competition will commence from 10 am. Working lunch will be provided at 1 pm and prizes will be distributed immediately after the completion of the competitions in different disciplines. All the members of the club are informed and requested to participate in the event.
