Kohima police seizes contraband

Dimapur, Sep. 25 (EMN): Kohima Police manning the interstate check gate at Khuzama, during routine checking and frisking of vehicles on Sep. 26, intercepted one truck bearing registration number NL07A-3953 and recovered 150 kg of contraband ganja. According to Sub-Divisional Police Officer (South) & PRO, the contraband was found concealed at the hood of the truck. The driver of the vehicle identified as Danii James (27 yrs) son of Weistii of Liyai Khullen, Tadubi, Manipur was taken into custody for possession and transportation of the contraband and a regular case vide Khuzama P.S Case No. 0011/2017 U/S 20 (b)(ii)(C) NDPS Act has been registered against him.
