Kohima police seize ganja

Dimapur, June 12 (EMN): Kohima police manning Peducha check gate recovered and seized 195 kgs of contraband Ganja neatly packed in 26 polythene bags from a Maruti Esteem bearing Registration No. WB 02W 1117 during the wee hours of 8th June 2018. According to additional SP & PRO, Kohima, the vehicle fled away when signalled to stop for checking. The duty personnel gave chase and after a hot pursuit, the vehicle was found abandoned near Piphema village and the occupants escaped under the cover of darkness. Case in this connection has been registered under NDPS Act for investigation.
