Dimapur, April 11 (EMN): Kohima police manning Khuzama inter-state police check gate arrested two persons with contraband drugs with ammunitions during a routine checking of vehicles on April 11.
A press release issued by PRO of DEF, Kohima, stated that its personnel manning Khuzama inter-state police check gate intercepted one Mahindra Bolero bearing registration No. NL 10-5432 and seized 60 packets of suspected Brown Sugar packed in soap cases weighting 900 gm each. Besides, police personnel also recovered two live rounds and two empty shells of 12 bore gun from their possession.
It stated that two persons identified as Aharavi (21) and P Zaisho (27), both from Leyai village in Tadubi district under Senapati district, Manipur, were taken into police custody. The release further stated that case has been registered at Khuzama police station for further investigation.
