Dimapur, March 3 (EMN): New ministers’ hill panchayat (NMHP), Kohima, has resolved to control vehicular movements during school hours so as to avoid traffic congestions.
Stating this in a joint press release, the panchayat chairman, Neibo-o Kire, and the secretary, Lima Imsong, stated that the panchayat would place “no entry” signboard from 8 am to 9 am and from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm for vehicles coming from old ministers’ hill and Mohonkhola towards LFHS School. All buses and private vehicles are directed to take the road through south police station or P Shilu Ao road to tourist lodge as “In” via panchayat hall towards old ministers’ hill/ Mohonkhola as “Out” during those hours.
The panchayat further requested all public, parents and students of Little Flower Higher Secondary School and Vineyard School to strictly adhere to the resolution of the colony and the panchayat. Mentioning that the panchayat and the colony youth would maintain strict vigil, it cautioned that no complaints would be entertained for any action taken to defaulters.
