Kohima observes National Voluntary Blood Donation Day

Dimapur, Oct. 2 (EMN): The Voluntary Blood Donors’ Association Kohima (VBDAK) in collaboration with Nagaland State AIDS Control Society (NSACS), National AIDS Control Organisation (NACO) and Blood Bank, Naga Hospital Authority Kohima (NHAK) observed National Voluntary Blood Donation Day on Thursday by organising ‘Walk-In Blood Donation Camp’ at the NHAK.

The camp was organised to address the need and shortage of blood during this public health crisis where voluntary donors are needed more than ever and also to maintain safe and adequate blood supply for patient in need, an update informed.

Altogether, 15 persons donated blood on the occasion.
