Dimapur, July 2 (EMN): The National Vector Borne Disease Control Programme (NVBDCP) under the establishment of Chief Medical Office (CMO) of Kohima observed the anti-malaria month under the theme, “Ready to beat Malaria.”
A press release from the CMO informed that during a month long programme, activities such as mass screening camps and dissemination awareness on signs and symptoms of malaria and preventive measures and on availability of blood testing and free medicines were rolled out to the public by the medical officers, DVBC consultant, malaria inspector, malaria technical supervisors, surveillance workers, ANM’s and ASHA’s at public health centres.
