DIMAPUR — The
Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Kohima, has issued an order specifying that,
in view of the upcoming celebration of the 76th Republic Day of India, specific
NGOs and clubs are to visit designated homes and institutions within Kohima
district on January 26.
According to a DIPR report, the Gorkha Public Panchayat will
visit the State Mental Health Institute, while the Puliebaze Club will be
hosted by the Tabitha Enabling Academy. The Indian Red Cross will visit the Old
Age Home, and the Masjid Committee will visit the Kohima Orphanage &
Destitute Home.
The Nagaland Contractors and Suppliers Union will visit the
District Jail, while the Kohima Chamber of Commerce and Industry will visit the
Bright Morning Star Orphanage in Periezie.
The Angami Women Organisation will visit the Cherry Blossom,
while the Rotary Club will visit the Jo Foundation. Finally, the Classic Club
will visit the Cradle Ridge.
The designated NGOs and clubs are required to submit an
action taken report detailing their visitation activities. Commendation certificates
will be awarded based on these reports.
