Nagabazaar Revival Fire Crusade calls for spiritual renewal, unity and transformation in churches and society
DIMAPUR — The Nagabazaar Revival Fire Crusade, organised by House of Prayer Ministries (HPM), Nagabazaar, was held from October 16 to the 18th at Zion Mission Church, Nagabazaar, Kohima, with a call for spiritual renewal, unity and transformation in churches and society.
The three-day crusade was held on the theme, “O Jehovah, God of Hosts, turn us back, cause Thy face to shine, and we are saved” (Psalm 80:19).
According to an update, the programme commenced at 4 pm each day, bringing believers together for worship, prayer and spiritual renewal.
The crusade featured three speakers: Dr. Ruokuozelie Pienyü, president of House of Prayer Ministries, Nagabazaar; Letuolie Pienyü, pastor of Christian Revival Church, Pezielietsie; and Khriesakuo Keretsü, evangelist of Christian Revival Church, Kohima village.
Addressing the congregation on the opening night, Dr. Ruokuozelie Pienyü urged believers to carry the fire of revival beyond Nagabazaar and extend its impact to the wider community.
He described revival fire as a sudden and intense movement of the Holy Spirit that renews spiritual life, burns away sin and ignites a deep passion for God.
He said it symbolised the empowering, purifying and awakening presence of the Holy Spirit, which could renew churches, transform Naga communities and inspire conversions.

On the second night, Letuolie Pienyü delivered a message focused on the theme, challenging the congregation to embrace unity and transformation.
“Revival brings unity, not division. It is the act of bringing something back together, to life, health, and strength,” he said, adding that revival should begin with individuals and extend to families, colonies, government and society.
On the concluding night, Khriesakuo Keretsü spoke about the struggles of the nation through the biblical perspective of Asaph, highlighting the pain of feeling abandoned by God and the vulnerability of a nation without divine protection.
He prayed for God’s intervention and restoration, saying, “Let God’s face shine on us to heal our land.”
The services began with praise and worship led by the ZMC Praise Team and Beith Tefilah Praise Team.
The programmes were led by Vilakhonuo Pienyü, general secretary of HPM; Neisabeinuo, chairperson of the Nagaland Women Prayer Centre; and Daniel Seb, advisor to ZMC.
Old Testament Scripture readings were conducted by Asenle Kath, founder of Hosanna Prayer Centre; Diethozelie Houzha, deacon of Upper Nagabazaar Baptist Church; and Riga Khing, men’s chairman of ZMC.
New Testament readings were conducted by Bunuo, chairperson of the Nagamese Church Prayer Ministry; Nesazolü Tetseo, deaconess of ZMC; and Roshan Thapa, deacon of ZMC.
The organisers expressed gratitude to the authorities of Zion Mission Church, Living Praise Musicians and the various volunteer committees for their contributions to the successful conduct of the crusade.
