Kohima Law College has organized its 36th annual sports meet at New Police Reserve Ground Kohima on November 14. During the meet various events were held including football badminton, volleyball, chess, table tennis and 200 meter race in which students participated enthusiastically.
The opening ceremony was held November 12 at T.T. Stadium Kohima. The welcome address was deliberated by Vitoka K Aye, president Kohima Law College Students Union (KLCSU), while speaking he extend gratitude to the Principal Visevonuo P. Pienyu for allowing the students to host the event and welcome the students on its 36th annual sports week of KLC. He also lauded that sports not make the person healthy but also help the person to learn the importance of goal setting, motivation, dedication, hard work and team work which is an essential part of life.
Motivating the students, Lecturer in-charge Kezhokhoto Savi threw light on the importance of sports and impressed upon them to participate in the games, to keep their body mentally and physically fit and also to mention disciplinary rules for smooth conduct of the event.
