Kohima forest division releases book

Dimapur, June 4 (EMN): Kohima Forest Division launched a magazine ‘Into the Wild (Vol. I),’ which was officially released by Dharmendra Prakash, PCCF and HoFF, on June 3 at his office chamber in Kohima.

Talking about the magazine, Rajkumar M, DFO Kohima, who conceptualised the magazine, stated that the Kohima Forest Division collected articles from the community on conservation from different villages.

The magazine contained interviews, posters, and articles contributed by the community, an update from the department stated. The DFO stated that the division has been organising online competitions during the past few years amid the pandemic and collecting articles, which has been included in the magazine. 

Meanwhile, Dharmendra Prakash has congratulated the division for the initiative and encouraged them to continue the good work. The PCCF expressed hope that the department would come up with more magazines and articles in the days to come.

Other officers who were present at the launch event included Vedpal Singh, chief wildlife warden; Temjenyabang, CCF (HQ); Rajkumar M, DFO Kohima; Dr. Sevono Seletsu, ACF, KFD; Pezaneinuo Chielie, RFO Kohima; and N Manikho, DEO and Computer Operator, DMU Kohima.
