KOHIMA — The Kohima Village Students' Union (KVSU) will organise the second edition of the Kohima Education and Career Fair 2026 on October 15 at Kohima Village Ground, Ziekezou, from 10 am to 4 pm. The fair is free and open to all.
The event aims to help students make informed decisions about their educational and career paths by providing access to leading educational institutions, colleges, skill centres, coaching centres and expert mentors under one roof.
Addressing a press conference at the Kohima Press Club on Monday, KVSU convenor Albert Rutsa, president Khrieseneikuo Kire and co-convenor Keneiser Mere said the fair would provide students with first-hand information, career guidance and opportunities to explore different educational options.
The organisers said they had invited schools from Kohima and neighbouring districts and were expecting participation from more than 50 institutions and over 2,000 students.

Following a pre-event survey, the union had also invited reputed institutions from across the Northeast and Nagaland.
They said the fair would allow students to interact directly with representatives of various institutions, clarify their doubts and learn about the courses, facilities and opportunities available to them.
The organisers also urged school students, school dropouts, parents and guardians to attend the fair and make use of the opportunity to explore suitable educational and career options.
They said the timing of the event would allow students to assess their interests, identify suitable institutions and streams, and prepare for their future academic pursuits well in advance.
