Dimapur, Nov. 15 (EMN): The organising committee of the 5th Open Kohima district volleyball championship 2017 has informed that the tournament will be held from Nov. 25 till the 30th at the Kohima local ground.
The tournament will be organised for both men and women category. The committee has informed the clerical error regarding the last date of submission of entry forms and that last date should be read as Nov. 22 and not Nov. 10 as mentioned in the entry forms.
The tournament entry forms are made available at Star Sports (Mohonkhola), Sports World (Main town) and Northern Sports (Sepfuzou).
The Committee has further informed that the total cash prize money for the tournament is INR. 1, 50, 000 (one lakh fifty thousand rupees).
The best players of the tournament will be selected to represent Kohima district in the forthcoming Nagaland Olympic Meet at Dimapur to be held from Dec. 13 till the 19th.
