Kohima district TT championship to be held from August 14

DIMAPUR — The Kohima District Table Tennis Association (KDTTA) is all set to host the 14th Kohima District Championship-cum-Veterans Open from August 14 to 16 at the Kohima Indoor Table Tennis Stadium.

According to an official release, the Veterans Doubles and Men’s Doubles events will be open-category matches, allowing participation from all table tennis enthusiasts regardless of association membership.

Other—including Veterans Singles (40+ and 50+), Men’s Singles, Women’s Singles, and Under-13, Under-15, and Under-17 categories—will be exclusively open to registered KDTTA members.

Selected players from these categories will represent Kohima district at the upcoming Inter-District and State Table Tennis Championship scheduled from September 30 to October 3.

The last date for online application submission is midnight of August 12. Interested participants can submit their entries via WhatsApp at 8131911951.

The tournament draw will be conducted on the morning of August 13 at the KDTTA office, and fixtures will be displayed at the stadium later that evening.
