Dimapur, March 27 (EMN): Kohima district theme song for clean election titled ‘Be the one’ was launched on March 27 by ADC Hq. and nodal officer for SVEEP, Kohima, Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa, with composer of the song, Dr. Hovithal Sothu, project director of music task force at ADC’s office chamber, Kohima.
The district theme song was composed by Dr. Hovithal Sothu, music by Lozinü of Penta School of Music, Kohima, and sung by Lüdinü and Vizünü. The song titled “Be the one” conveys the message to the public to think and act with a conscious heart and a free mind at the time of election and choose the right leader for tomorrow.
“Be the one who cannot be bought, Be the one who cannot be sold, wake up Kohima to stand against all proxies and all capturing acts” the song speaks. It also conveys that ‘universal adult franchise gives you power to vote if eighteen and above, your vote is your power, do not sell it, your vote, your legacy, do not barter it.’
