Holy Family HSS, Mt.Carmel and St. Paul School enters second round

Kohima, June 29 (EMN): Holy Family Higher Secondary School, Mount Carmel and St. Paul School Phesama won their respective matches on Friday to enter the second round of the ongoing 2nd Kohima District Inter-School Football Tournament at the Khuochiezie ground in Kohima.
In the first match, Holy Family Higher Secondary School defeated Don Bosco School Tseminyu 2-1. Honwen gave the early lead in 5th minute for Holy Family School, but the goal was cut short as Shatilo Sen scored an equaliser in the 25th minute for Don Bosco.
In the second half, Honwen doubled the lead in the 49th minute to give the win for Holy Family School.
Mount Carmel edged passed CD Kings, HSS Jotsoma 3 - 1 in the second match. Namzuchibe, Rovituo and Bijoy were the goal scorer of the Mount Carmel team, while Nekhrie scored the lone goal for Jotsoma team.
While in the third match, Skipper of St. Paul School Phesama, Keleze scored four goals as St. Paul School Phesama thrashed Charity School Kohima 7-0 in a goal fest encounter.
Keleze (11) scored the fastest hat-trick scorer of the tournament as he completed his hat-trick in the 24th. He opened the scoring in the 3rd, 8th and the 24th minute to complete his hat-trick and also added his fourth goal in the 27th minute. He also becomes the third hat-trick scorer of the tournament.
St. Paul’s player Mhasineizo scored a brace with his goal coming in the 26th and 47th minute, while Kedosekho and Keviselhou also added a goal each for St. Paul to complete the riot.

2nd match - Mt. Sinai Higher Secondary School vs Riizhiikhrie GHSS at 12:40 pm
3rd match - Northfield vs Dr.Neilhouzhii GHSS at 2 pm
