Officials of the Kohima District Football Association, officers of the 45 and 13 Assam Rifles, and family members of the late Capt. N Kengurüse after resolving differences amicably at Hotel 2K in Kohima on Sunday.


DIMAPUR — The Kohima District Football Association (KDFA) and the Assam Rifles (AR) have formally resolved their recent differences in an amicable manner following KDFA’s earlier stance of non-cooperation with the AR.


The meeting between the two parties was held on Sunday at Hotel 2K, Kohima, attended by officials of the KDFA, and officers of the 45 and 13 AR, along with the family members of the late Capt. N Kengurüse, stated an update.

After two hours of threadbare discussion, the matter was resolved. The association expressed its appreciation to the various district football associations for their solidarity during this period.


KDFA further reaffirmed its commitment to supporting initiatives that promote football and nurture football talent in Kohima district and across Nagaland.
