Kohima District Basketball Association names men's and women's squads for Nagaland Olympic and Paralympic Games 2026.
DIMAPUR — The Kohima District Basketball Association (KDBA) has officially announced its squad for the upcoming Nagaland Olympic and Paralympic Games 2026, scheduled to begin on November 2.
According to an update, the final player list was finalised during an executive meeting of the association held on Sunday, September 20, at the residence of KDBA President Khrielasakuo Keretsü.
The KDBA extended its gratitude to all the players who participated in the open basketball selection trials for both men and women held on Saturday, September 19, at Don Bosco Higher Secondary School in Kohima.
The 12-member men's team comprises Keneitseizo Belho, Sharman Lama, Kevisevor Belho, Kevilelhou Dzüvichü, Kezevituo Suokhrie, Salew Kadete, Keneizelhou Kevin Tale, Kezhaseluo-o Pienyü, Sedeneituo Kuotsu, Kevisotuo Pienyü, Thejangulie Mekro, and Thejazo Gary Rutsa. Kethoselie Yashü and Menuosielie Chielie have been placed on the waiting list.
The women's squad includes Imtilela Walling, Hukholü Resüh, Thejangunuo Resüh, Pelekhonuo Kuotsu, Thsulenla, Nisino Nakhro, Lika Aye, Lukingailiu Angelina Gangmei, Rüütuonuo Janice, Kekhluzhonu Khiyho, Yimtimenla, and Kosü Domeh. Medosevino Nagi has been placed on the waiting list.
The association informed that the waiting list is valid for 48 hours. If no replacements are made within this period, the players listed will be confirmed as the final roster.
