The Kohima DC office invites entries for the 12th NHRC Short Film Competition on Human Rights Issues.

DIMAPUR — The office of the Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Kohima has invited the public and interested organisations to participate in the National Human Rights Commission's (NHRC) Short Film Competition 2026 (12th edition), organised on the theme "Human Rights issues".
According to a circular issued by the DC, the competition is open to individuals, educational institutions, universities, colleges, schools, civil society organisations, non-governmental organisations (NGOs), village bodies, and other interested participants across the Kohima district.
The last date for the submission of entries is June 30. Entries must be submitted online via Google Drive to nhrcshortfilm@gmail.com
The DC's office has encouraged all eligible participants to take part in the competition. Detailed guidelines, application forms, and undertakings are available on the NHRC website.
