DIMAPUR — Kohima College and the State College of Teacher Education (SCTE), Kohima, formally signed a Memorandum of Collaboration (MoC) on Wednesday.
The agreement aims to promote joint academic and professional development activities within a multidisciplinary framework, in alignment with the vision of the National Education Policy 2020 and University Grants Commission guidelines, stated an update.
The collaboration focuses on the introduction of the Integrated Teacher Education Programme, offering a joint Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education (Secondary) degree, alongside existing courses.

The MoC also outlines provisions for sharing academic infrastructure, instructional facilities, and human resources to facilitate joint curriculum planning, research initiatives, and the organisation of seminars, workshops, and training programmes.
Additionally, both institutions have agreed to share governance practices and academic resources, including library materials and research publications, while contributing to broader social development.
The agreement was signed on behalf of the SCTE Kohima by Principal Dr. Elizabeth Walling. Representing Kohima College, the MoC was signed by Principal Dr. Vitsosie Vupru.
