Dimapur, March 7 (EMN): Kohima College Kohima (KCK) on March 7 organised its 51st parting social programme at the college premises, with its principal, Dr. Watijungshi Jamir as the speaker.
Addressing the outgoing students, the principal encouraged them by citing the popular planning technique known as SWOT analysis— strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges, urged the outgoing students to identify their strengths and weaknesses and set goals accordingly.
Speeches on behalf of the outgoing and remaining students were delivered by Bikram Male and Khrüvotalü Ringa respectively. An annual report was presented by assistant general secretary of the college students’ union, Nütalü Keyho. General secretary of the students union, Vimeyiekho Vitso spoke on ‘The journey thus far.’
On the occasion, Student of the Year was awarded to Vimeyiekho Vitso, an outgoing student while the best class representative was awarded to Veyevo. Students’ Choice of the year for teaching faculty was Dr. Eunice Alinger and ministerial staff award was given to Paul Achumi.
Annual college magazine was also released by the principal.
A silent prayer was also observed in memory of Awale and Nyangpong, students of the college who passed away recently.
