
Dimapur, March 6 (EMN): In continuation with the cleanliness campaign under the banner “Keep Our City Clean” (KOCC), several people turned up for a social work which was undertaken from Kitsubozou to Seikhazou on Saturday.
The social work was joined by the youth department of Chakhesang Baptist Church Kohima, CRC Chakhesang of Kitsubozou, Panchayat and youth organisation of Kitsubozou. Also joining the social work, Pele Khezhie, president Nagaland Contractors and Suppliers Union (NCSU), appealed to everyone to develop the habit of cleanliness in their respective capacity to keep Kohima city neat and clean.
It was informed that the next social work would be conducted at D’ Block, Kohima, on March 13.
The cleanliness campaign under the banner ‘Keep Our City Clean’ is being spearheaded by concerned citizens from various professions with a common objective to raise awareness on every citizen’s responsibility to keep Kohima city clean. The campaign aims at building consciousness among citizens by coordinating with village welfare organisations, student organisations, churches of all denominations, colony youth, NGOs and stakeholders in the community.
