All have sinned and no one is righteous. All were in darkness and no one was in the light. But through Christ all can become righteous and in the light. The teachings of Jesus Christ are perfect and through the redemptive work on the cross and the power of the Holy Spirit the quest of mankind for peace is found, the thirst of mankind is quenched and the hunger is satisfied. So all sinners can be saved and can become new men and women in Christ. All can have true relationship with God.
But all professed believers of Christ are not living new life. The born again life in the Holy Spirit is real transformed and new life. “The kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit (Rom.14:17). It is an experience of heavenly peace, joy and love. It is the prerogative of all true believers of Christ!
So a man who is being led by the Holy Spirit is a co-worker of Christ for salvation of the world from sins. But professed believers of Christ who still intentionally design any evil scheme and indulge in any evil thing are co-workers of the devil. In spite of their being professed believers of Christ, they do not know the sweetness of peace, joy and loving kindness in relationship with God. So to them all things are the same ( 1 John 3:7-10).
In the context of the Nagas, nearly cent percent of the population are professed believers of Christ and some foreigners covet us that we are living as if in paradise. But in reality vast majority of our people still are not consciuos of the difference between righteousness and sins and are not serious about them.
The Ruling Party NPF has been at loggerd-heads for years together. Almost all Departments have been undergoing unprecedented crises in one way or the other. Non-payment of salaries to the employees and Scholarship of students to the students are matters of rare case in the past. Employees of many Departments together simultenously threatened to stage pen down agitation. Leaders and officers are being blamed to be responsible for all these imbroglios. But are all of the staffs innocent?
If the leaves of a tree get withered, it signifies that there is a defect at the root. The unprecedented crises arising in our societies are the outcome of a defect at the root and the healing is that we all examine ourselves and turn from our sins to have the right relationship with God because He is the only healer.
