Dimapur, Aug. 23 (EMN): Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) on Aug. 23 directed those business establishments running without or expired trade license to renew the same by Aug. 31.
The KMC administrator, Elizabeth Ngully informed that during a recent inspection by the municipal staff, some business establishment/institution/shop especially in the ward/colony under KMC jurisdiction have been found to be operating without proper license.
Reminding all concerned to make or renew trade license within Aug. 31, Ngullie warned that during the 2nd round of inspection to be carried out by the 1st week of Sept., the KMC would initiate necessary action/closure of shops will follow as per the Municipal Act 2001.
Ngullie further directed all the shops to display signboard along with trade license registration number without fail.
