Kisama, Dec. 5 (EMN): The 10th edition of Hornbill Motor Rally-TSD organised by the Nagaland Adventure & Motor Sports Association (NAMSA) in collaboration with JK Tyres and supported by the Nagaland Tourism department as part of the Hornbill Festival of Nagaland was conducted on Thursday in Kisama, Kohima.
A total of 36 riders from different parts of the country participated in the event, which was flagged off from the IG Stadium in the morning, went through Touphema village and concluded at Kisama village after covering a distance of 80 km.
The competitors comprised 21 in the Northeast class, seven in open class and six in the two-wheeler bike category and one each in the Couple and Ladies Class.
The director of Marketing for JK Tyres, Vikram Malhotra, and the director (operations) of JK Tyres and former editor-in-chief of the North East Sun magazine, Deepak Deewan, gave away the prizes to the winners at a valedictory function that was conducted at Kisama.
