Rest House Ward youths and YouthNet conducted a school cleanliness drive as part of the 17-day ‘Our School, Our Responsibility’ campaign.
KIPHIRE — Rest House Ward Kiphire, in collaboration with YouthNet, conducted a cleanliness drive at a school compound on Tuesday as part of the ongoing “Our School, Our Responsibility” campaign.
The 17-day campaign, being held from September 15 to October 2, is led by the Mantra4Change Youth Leadership Collective under Shikshagraha, in collaboration with YouthNet.
The campaign links key occasions, from the International Day of Democracy to Gandhi Jayanti and Swachh Bharat Diwas.
During the drive, youths from Rest House Ward cleaned the school compound and surrounding areas, with the activity aimed at promoting cleanliness, civic responsibility and active youth participation.
The initiative also sought to highlight the importance of maintaining clean and healthy school environments while encouraging communities to take shared responsibility for public spaces, particularly educational institutions.
The campaign aims to encourage young people to become responsible citizens and contribute to positive change in their communities through community-led activities.
