Kiphire town committee gets garbage truck under SBM

Dimapur, April 3 (EMN): The inauguration and handing over programme of garbage truck (Tata Mobile Pickup) to Kiphire town ward sanitation committee issued by Urban Development Department under Swaach Bharat Mission (SBM) was held on March 28 at Hopongkiu Memorial Hall with Alobo Naga, Brand Ambassador, SBM Kiphire in-charge, as the special guest. Alobo cited an example of Gangtok, Sikkim, the cleanest place in the Northeast, and urged the people of Kiphire to keep the town clean and make it the cleanest town in Nagaland. Keynote address was delivered by Dr. Tinojongshi, Additional Deputy Commissioner and Administrator of Kiphire Town Council. The programme was presided by Wangan, EAC Longmatra, while the vote of thanks was pronounced by Sepithrong.
